Reverse Vending Legislation Being Considered By Michigan Legislature May Adversely Impact Grocers
The House Great Lakes & Environment Committee is considering legislation on Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) Bills and changes in the bottle deposit laws. In addition to serious financial impact upon grocers, passage of these laws may also result in efforts to expand the bottle bill to include non-carbonated beverage containers.
